Orange Washing, drying, waxing and sorting line

Millions of tons of oranges are exported annually from all the world. Washing, drying, waxing and sorting line:

1- Washing and sorting section :
It is clear from the name that this section or part of the production line in which the processes of washing and sorting the fruits of orange to be ready for the next stage, and for the equipment component of this section are as follows,
  • Water tank made of stainless steel stainless steel dimensions 5.7 × 1.5 m and equipped with an electronic screen used to refine the water, in this tank is the process of washing depending on a pump high pressure water. The tank operates with an electric capacity of 0.75 kW, 380 volt current.
  • After the water tank, there is an electrically rotating ball bearing (100 cylinders) in which the fruits of orange move straight to be sorted by the workers. The length of the slope is 2.1 meters, the straight path is 1.73 meters and the width is 1.05 meters.
2 - rinsing and waxing section (brush, rinsing outlet, wax sprayer outlet):
  • Electrical capacity: 0.75 kW, Power supply: 380 volts
  • Rotary brushes are used to clean the fruit after washing. Rinse at the sixth brush to remove suspended material, 5.32 x 0.95 m.
  • During the transport process, the brush removes the water from the fruit, resulting in the fruit being polished. Four cooling fans are mounted in the middle of the brushes to dry the fruit.
  • During the second half of the transmission, a timer is used to control the electrostatic wax sprayer, where a suitable wax is sprayed for food use. The waiting time and wax time are set freely.
  • After spraying, the rotary brushes distribute the wax on the whole fruit piece in a homogeneous manner.
3- Heating and drying section (Italian burner, temperature control, 150 cylinder):
  • Dimensions 5.8 × 1.12 m
  • Electrical capacity: 0.75 kW.
  • Wax fruits are placed in the drying box for drying water on the surface. The drying process improves the brightness of the fruit.
  • Italian combustion: Natural gas is used in combustion, where there is intelligent temperature control. Temperature can be adjusted either automatically or manually.
  • The temperature ranges from low to high. The air stream within the tunnel is also rotary.
4- Conveyor belt:
  • Dimensions: 7 x 0.9 meters
  • Electrical capacity: 0.75 kW
